Cleaned hemp seeds are distinguished by their perfect ratio of alpha-linolenic (omega-3) and linoleic (omega-6) fatty acids, which are not synthesized by the body and must be obtained from food. Approximately 75–80% of all fatty acids are polyunsaturated (omega-3 and omega-6); the body does not synthesize them and obtains them from food.
Per 100 g of hemp hearts, there are 35–40 g of plant protein. These are globular proteins — edestin (65–67%) and albumin (33–35%). The product is a valuable source of complete plant protein. This is a food product that contains no psychoactive substances.
